Simple Notes is a markdown notes app that stores your notes in your personal iCloud account. We do not operate any servers that store your personal data, and we do not collect, process, or sell any information about you.
All notes you create are stored exclusively in your own iCloud Drive account, in a private container managed by Apple. We have no access to your notes. Your data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy with respect to iCloud storage and sync.
Simple Notes does not collect, transmit, or store:
There are no user accounts, no sign-up, and no backend service operated by us.
Simple Notes does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The only external service used is Apple's iCloud, which you control through your own Apple ID.
Simple Notes does not collect any personal data from anyone, including children. The app is suitable for all ages. Because no data is collected, there are no special requirements around children's data.
Your notes are protected by Apple's iCloud security infrastructure, including end-to-end encryption where supported. We cannot access your notes under any circumstances.
If we ever change this policy in a material way (for example, if we introduce any data collection), we will update this page and communicate the change through the app. Continued use of Simple Notes after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
